  • A parent asked about Na Hopena A’o implementation. Teachers do not consistently teach it, but our Kumu visits each class for half hour blocks each week. This is the time when Hawai’ian culture and values are specifically taught.
  • Regarding Attendance (1.2.1 in academic plan)- the planned enabling activities are all after the fact (after the student misses school). We will brainstorm proactive measures when we hire a new counselor. 
  • Due to SCC members being unavailable for the meeting an email was sent to approve.
