Common Core State Standards
In SY 2013-2014 all grade levels implemented the Common Core State Standards Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts and Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science and Technical Subjects and the CCSS for Mathematics.

New Generation Science Standards
In 2016 the Hawaii BOE adopted the New Generation Science Standards that were fully implemented in the 2019-2020 school year.

Computer Science Standards (CS)
Facing new global demands in the fields of computer and information technology occupations, Hawaii BOE adopted "CS Standards" in May 2018. The multi-year plan supports the use of "Computer Science Teachers Association’s K-12 Computer Science Standards, Revised 2017".
